What size generator do I need for my home?

The right size depends on how many appliances and systems you want powered during an outage. We evaluate your home’s electrical load and recommend a generator that fits your needs safely and efficiently. This ensures you have enough power without overspending on unnecessary capacity.

How long does generator installation take?

Most installations take one day, though coordinating fuel connections or panel upgrades may extend the timeline. We provide a clear schedule before work begins so you know exactly what to expect. This transparency helps you plan accordingly.

Do I need a permit to install a generator?

Yes, generator installations typically require permits and must meet local electrical and fuel code requirements. We handle all permitting and ensure your installation passes inspections. This ensures compliance and safety for your home.

How often does a standby generator need maintenance?

Most systems require maintenance once or twice a year. Routine service keeps your generator ready for storms and helps prevent unexpected failures. Regular checks ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Will a generator increase my home’s energy bill?

A generator does not impact your bill unless it’s actively running. Standby generators only use fuel and electricity during outages or scheduled self-tests. This means your costs are minimal when the generator is not in use.

Our bathroom flooded in our house with water going outside of it. We called Arctic Air. He was professional and ask questions in order to find the problem. The problem was found and our plumber did a phenomenal job fixing it. THANK YOU.

The same plumber returned on September 2nd for an emergency call, and we are greatful for his thorough investigation of the problem. He was able to detect an issue related to our AC unit that was under warranty. A big thanks to him and to the AC technician who came out to service the issue SAME day!
