I had the sad fortune of losing Randy as my guy but was thrilled with the service I received from Steve Kiener. This man is the most respectful and competent service tech I have ever had, bar none. I would be thrilled to have him as my serviceman for many years to come.

Sometimes you are lucky enough to find a company that performs exactly as advertised. Today I had such an experience.

I was in need of a company to service and maintain my heat pump as the company that installed my unit has since gone out of business. My neighbor refered me to Artic Air for they had installed his heat pump and done all the servicing since and he was very happy with the service provided.

Trusting my neighbor's judgment was the best move I have made in a very long time. On the day I called they were able to do my service. Randy was my technician and he was so incredible to work with I have requested they send him to do all my future heat pump servicing. Randy had no problem answering my stupid, layman questions. He was respectful of our needs and our property. He even wore shoe coverings every time he entered our house.

Bottom line, if you are in need of an HVAC expert or even an electrician, don't hesitate to call Artic Air Conditioning and Home Services.

Now for an update. I can't say it any other way. This company is the absolute best HVAC(and so much more) company I have ever worked with. Reese Taylor has been my tech for a full year now and I am so impressed with his knowledge and work ethic. Everyone I have dealt withers been very good at what they do but Reese takes it to a whole new level. I'd give him ten stars if I could!

We recently had our bi-annual HVAC maintenance performed on four office units, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service. Our technician, Reece, spent nearly 10 hours on-site, constantly moving between floors, running up and down stairs, and climbing ladders to access rooftop units. By the end of the day, he probably got more steps in than most fitness trackers can count.

Most importantly, he was thorough, professional, and determined to get everything working properly. He diagnosed and corrected several issues, cleared multiple clogged drain lines, and made sure all four systems were operating as they should before wrapping up.

It's refreshing to work with a company that takes the time to do the job right rather than rushing through a service call. We appreciate the hard work, attention to detail, and dedication shown throughout the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable HVAC service and maintenance.

Stephen Balkcom arrived as scheduled to review our concerns about our one-year-old upstairs system not cooling. He first verified the outside unit was operating properly, which it is. He then had to access the attic to assess the situation up there. Mind you, it's at least 100 degrees up there! Stephen took several photos as part of his investigation and showed them to us to corroborate his findings. The duct work is in terrible shape; portions are completely or almost completely collapsed. After contact with the office he went back into the oven (attic) and initiated 'temporary' repairs. Honestly, it looks like they are permanent. Meanwhile, Stephen had requested Travis to come out and discuss duct replacement and costs. In short...Stephen spent approximately 2+ hours investigating and 'repairing' the ducts. I felt so bad for him because of the incredible heat. HOWEVER, Stephen never complained; provided top-notch courtesy and above-and-beyond professionalism. Josh, came out promptly and on time; performed adequate and timely maintenance. He performed his job and remained respectful to my home. Leaving me informed and satisfied.

The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained what he was going to do before he started, midway through the process and cleaned everything up when he was done. He also had some recommendations but didn't pressure me into making a quick decision. Very kind and polite.

We had Artic out today to get our AC cooling here in Shearwater/ St Augustine. The system was not turning on do to an electrical issue from construction it appears. John (electrician) arrived within 2 hours of us calling & diagnosed the issue. John & his teammate Shawn took the time to explain things & Artic even followed up with Jordan from the AC department to verify everything was working properly.
Highly recommend the Artic team if you have issues from construction or even want to upgrade things from the cheap builder items we have in our homes. Very impressed with their quick arrival & the communication from their office.
I know who to call now if we have Electrical, Plumbing, AC issues.

We were very happy with the maintenance and the new AC install. The mechanics were prompt and the work was done in a professional manner.

My wife and I just had Stephen come out to service our a/c. One of the few times you are truly thankful for who you got. This guy is beyond not only a great technician but an amazing person as well. Friendly, fast and easy communication. Although we only needed minimal checkup this time we signed up for the long term maintenance plan they offered. Jordan arrived early and listened to our concerns then evaluated our needs. He offered solutions and answered our questions with efficiency and clarity. We even discussed long term solutions for future upgrades. Very satisfied with their service and performance ethics. Definitely a trustworthy company to deal with.

Several breakers were partially tripped after a recent storm, leaving my refrigerator, washer, dryer, and hot water heater without power. I called ARTIC Air, and even though their team was tied up on a large job, they sent Brandon out quickly to take a look.

Brandon was very nice, courteous, and professional. He wore booties in the house, was thorough in making sure everything was working properly, and took the time to explain what happened. He also recommended improvements like whole-home surge protection and replacing some older breakers.

I really appreciated the quick response and great service. I would definitely recommend ARTIC Air and Brandon.

Eric Allen was great. explaining what we need and what we could use to prevent further damage. And was very friendly and my puppy dog liked them too. Will be recommending your company to all my friends.

The technician came to fix our air conditioning unit that wasn't cooling properly. He was able to find the problem quickly and get the house cool again. He did an excellent job in a short amount of time. Very knowledgeable.

Update 7-6: we had our kitchen sink drain stop draining first thing. Called AA and within a few minutes was on the schedule. Austin arrived shortly afterward. The repair was done fairly quickly and actually led to an improvement in how future drain pipe clean outs can be done. Austin’s work for us was was professional and helpful to us. He worked with us to get estimates on two future jobs thank you Austin and Arctic Air. Certainly deserves a 5 star.

Update: 3-13-26: Google reviews seem to be kinda bizarre - it keeps linking me back to my older ones rather than allowing me to write a new one. So I'll just update
Last week Plumber Bill from Arctic Aire came to put in new water service lines and drain to a utility sink we needed in our wash room and connect our water supply to an outside hose line faucet along with a cutoff.He did a great job on both tasks. We have an older house so there are going to be lots of historical 'innovations' to the utility services. He had studied the area when he gave us our estimate for the job and came prepared for the install. When he was done the sink (stainless steel) was tested for leaks and smooth drainage worked well. As a bonus the sink was also much more sturdy. The outside faucet install was a little tricky to get new cutoff a junction to the supply line and routing the piping from the pump house to the faucet piping. He put it all together with the need to be able to drain the water from the lines during our mercifully brief winter freezes. Works great.
So couldn't be happier with the work he did for us. Professional, courteous and worked with us during the planning stages.

Update 9-16-25:: as you might guess with all these updates our home is an older one and had a number of issues when we bought it that we are now addressing. Alan and Stewart from Artic Air came to replace our a/c and air handler. The units we had had significant issues and were old enough to make doing repairs like slapping a bandaid over a serious wound. The removal of the old equipment and installation of the new went smoothly and efficiently. Both techs were very pleasant and competent, and we are very pleased with the results. We also had fiberglass insulation blown in over our existing attic batting to increase the R-level. Thank you Artic Air! My 5-star rating is unchanged.

Updated 8-27-26: Steve Kiener a maintenance technician for attic air came to inspect our AC unit. He was very thorough in his examination of a 12 year old system and we had a very good conversation of his findings. Needless to say much needs to be done. He even found a small leak in a nearby gas line and made arrangements for the gas company to come out the same day! We are very satisfied with his visit and recommend him and the company highly.

Richard D. And Brandon replaced the electrical panel in our house which was out-dated and had a number of ‘problems’. They were on time when they arrived and were done by five. The work done was done professionally and courteously. They did not hesitate in answering our questions or addressing our concerns. Richard was the person sent out initially to look at our system and it made the job flow better because of his prior visit. There are other things that need to be done in the next two days of the job but I have every confidence it will be done correctly and to our satisfaction.

So it’s 4th of July weekend- plumbing pipe burst in my bathroom. Not a problem with Artic . They came and fixed it no worries. Austin was informative and very professional. Don’t hesitate to call them for all your Air Conditioning, plumbing and electrical needs.

Artic Air responded within an hour of my call on a Saturday. Eric Allen, the technician was very knowledgable and thorough giving the indoor and outdoor units a complete assessment. He figured out what was wrong and was very good at explaining to me exactly what the problem was and what repair was needed on each unit. The repairs consisted of replacing both the capacitors and installing a surge protector on the outdoor unit voltage circuit to help prevent damage from electrical spikes which may have been the cause of my problem given the electrical storm that passed through Palm Coast. The system was repaired and now is running fine. Also let me know about the drain outside that runs underground, cleared it and added water. Took a while to start dripping. Something to take note of. All in all I was pleased with the service that was provided to me by Eric Allen of Artic Air. As far as the price goes, from what I looked up on line, the cost seemed reasonable.

Our technician was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He explained the issue and corrected the problem. We appreciate his attention and commitment to getting our air conditioning up and running quickly.

After having another company come in to replace my water system, it looked like a maze of pips and leaked. This did not worked like it was supposed to. I think this company’s pick up a body off the streets to fill the spot.

Casey was awesome provided requested AC maintenance and a complete list of repairs needed now and would be needed in the future as well as wish list extras. No pressure. He was really knowledgeable about AC preventative care. The very inexpensive yearly maintenance plan is a deal and a must have unless you enjoy paying $ every time you initiate a service call. Oh and Casey also gave me a little tree tip 🤣

We had two excellent technicians come and inspect last Wednesday and today clean, repair, and replace parts. Both were timely, communative, efficient, and hardworking, giving good explanations of what was needed to be done and what work they'd completed. They answered our questions, explained how we could save money moving forward, and essentially put our central AC unit in good working order. We are always hesitant to trust companies coming to our home, but now we fully trust Arctic Air. Thank you guys.

This appointment was our 6 months maintenance and the technician found an issue with our heat. We had not used the heat yet so we are grateful he discovered it before it was needed.

Our A/C wasn’t keeping up with the heat. Turning on our oven to roast kept raised the temperature 5 degrees in the house for the rest of the day. So, we called and they sent Eric the next morning. He had everything cleaned and fixed up for us in about an hour. Thank you Eric!!

Today, my Technician was Stephen Balkcom from Artic Air Home Services he was very knowledgeable and thorough in the repairs that was needed, he was such a gentleman and he explained everything to me. I noticed this morning that it was a little hot and muggy in my home, my thermostat set for 71 but read 74 I checked the switches in my electrical panel everything was on except my AC and was not working. I called Artic Air Home Services around 8:45 and I had an appointment the same day, in this Florida heat you can't let a day go by without air condition so I really appreciate this company responding so quickly. I had the pleasure of working with Brandon from Arctic Air Conditioning for a generator quote, and I couldn't be more impressed. Brandon was incredibly thorough, giving genuine responses and taking the time to ensure I fully understood the process. He answered all my questions without rushing, making me feel confident in my decision. He even brought his own booties covers to wear inside to keep my house clean, and was extremely personable and relatable. I felt like he was someone I could trust to represent not only Arctic, but also himself.

Five Stars, without question. I had Artic Air Home Services replace the entire duct system in my home - a job that was anything but straightfoward. The old system was under the house, in rough shape, and essentially non-functional. Not an easy project by any measure. They sent Alan and Stewart - I cannot say enough good things about these guys. They tackled the removal of the old system without complaint, sealed off the old ducts properly, installed the new system with meticulous attention to detail - checking everything to make sure there were no leaks - and then cleaned up completely when they were done - and I mean completely. What really stood out is their dedication. They stayed late to make sure the job was finished right, not just finished. That kind of work ethic and professionalism is genuinely rare these days.
